# Schedule a Consultation

As a courtesy, we ask that our patients call us at least 24 hours in advance of any appointment that must be changed.

Each appointment will be scheduled at the conclusion of the previous appointment.

Due to developments in technology, we now require fewer appointments throughout treatment. Typically these are 7 to 8 weeks between appointments.

Because we respect your time, our office has developed a scheduling system that stresses on time performance. We schedule longer appointments during the morning hours and our routine check-ups and adjustments which can take as little as 10-30 minutes in the afternoon.

In the event that you need to reschedule an appointment, we ask that you take the next available appointment as to not delay the treatment time. Continued failed appointments will result in additional fees.

 [Emergencies](#) [*Expand*](#)If you are having a problem, we will be more than happy to see you to make you comfortable. We prefer that in an emergency you see the Doctor during regular office hours.

**However, should you have a problem of an emergency nature after hours (i.e., you are in pain and cannot get relief from the use of orthodontic wax) we can be reached by calling the office number and you will receive after hours instructions.**
